KitchenIQ is available across three platforms — your phone, a shared tablet, and the web portal. Each device is designed with a specific purpose in mind.
Mobile App (iPhone & Android)
The mobile app is your primary KitchenIQ experience. Everything you need to do your job can be done from your phone.
On mobile, you can:
- Complete your To-Dos, Checklists, and Tasks for the day
- View your assigned positions and Setup details
- Track and redeem Rewards
- Send and receive Broadcasts
- View and run Breaks
- Access Reporting
- Manage Infractions and Disciplinary Actions
- Set up and view Remote Equipment Monitoring equipment, templates, and alerts
- Enter and track Waste
- Chat with others in your store
- Complete training
- See your store's activity throughout the day
- Edit your profile
- And more!
Tablet
The tablet is a shared device used by the whole team. Unlike the mobile app, no one is individually logged in. Instead, each team member enters their unique 4-digit PIN to access their personal experience. This means the tablet always shows each person exactly what they need to see based on their own role and permissions, no matter who used it last.
Because the tablet is shared, you do not need to fully log out of the app when you are done. Simply tap the Sign Out Icon with an arrow to the right of your name and the next person can enter their own PIN to access their information. See How to PIN in for further instructions.
On the tablet, you can:
- Enter your 4-digit PIN to access your personal view
- View and manage the Team Dashboard
- Enter and review Waste
- Access Reporting
Web Portal
The web portal is accessed from a desktop or laptop browser at portal.kitcheniq.ecolab.com. It is designed for administrative and management tasks that are easier to complete on a larger screen.
On the portal, you can:
- Build and manage Checklists and Questions
- Access the Planner to schedule Checklists and Tasks
- View Reporting and Insights dashboards
- Build and manage Food Lists
- Set up Remote Equipment Monitoring equipment, templates, and alerts
- Manage organization settings, roles, and users
- View subscription information
