View, Add, Remove, or Change Buddies

Buddies are two employees paired together to work in coordination, typically for training support or planned coverage changes.

To edit Setups, you must have the "Build Setups" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Navigate into a Setup

  1. From the Team tab, select the setup that includes the employee you want to manage a Buddy for
    • If the setup is published, tap Edit in the top right corner to enter editing mode

View a Buddy

  1. Tap on the employee who you want to view a Buddy for
    • You do not have to be in edit mode to view a buddy
  2. View the name listed under Buddy
    • If there is no buddy listed or you want to change or remove the employee's buddy, see instructions below

Add a Buddy

  1. Tap on the employee who you want to add a Buddy to
    • To add a buddy, you must be editing a setup
  2. Tap on the drop-down menu under Buddy
  3. Tap on the employee who will be their Buddy
  4. Add any notes if needed
  5. Tap Save

Remove a Buddy

  1. Tap on the employee whose Buddy you want to remove
    • To remove a buddy, you must be editing a setup
  2. Tap on the drop-down menu under Buddy
  3. Tap No Buddy at the top of the list
    • This will cause the Buddy field to return to a blank state
  4. Tap Save

Change a Buddy

  1. Tap on the employee who you want to change a Buddy for
    • To change a buddy, you must be editing a setup
  2. Tap on the drop-down menu under Buddy
  3. Tap on the new employee who will be their Buddy
  4. Add any notes if needed
  5. Tap Save
