Create Setup (Tablet)

Create and manage Setups directly on your tablet with Ecolab KitchenIQ™, allowing leaders to complete Setups on the same device used during daily operations.

To create setups, you must have the "Build Setups" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Navigate into Build Setup

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Tap Team
  3. Find the Setup you'd like to build and tap on it
  4. If prompted, enter your 4 digit PIN to verify your permissions
    • You must have Build Setups permission
  5. Now you're ready to start building!

Place employees in Positions  

  1. From the Roster on the left-hand side, drag and drop employees into positions
    • This will automatically place them in the position for the duration of the Setup (as long as they're scheduled for the entire setup time)

Change the Time an Employee is in a Position

  1. Tap on the Employee
  2. Adjust their position time
  3. Tap Save

Add an Employee to a Second Position

  1. Tap the employee
  2. Tap Add Position
  3. Select the Position
  4. Tap Save

You can also drag and drop the employee from the On Setup section of the roster into another position

Edit Setup Positions

  1. Tap Edit Positions on any group
    • Setups automatically have the positions set through templates made by leaders, but these can be changed when needed
  2. Select the positions you'd like to add
    • Positions that have a blue check will appear on the Setup
  3. Tap Save

These changes are not permanent. To edit Setups with permanent changes, check out Edit Setup Template

Edit Setup Groups

  1. Tap the Add Group button
    • Setups automatically have the groups set through templates made by leaders, but these can be changed when needed
  2. Select the Group(s) you'd like to add
    • Groups that have a blue check will appear on the Setup
  3. Tap Save
    • Add Positions to the new Group by tapping Add Positions

These changes are not permanent. To edit Setups with permanent changes, check out Edit Setup Template

Publish your Setup

  1. Once your Setup is complete, tap Publish in the top right corner
  2. Once published, you may be prompted to complete your next Setup
    • You can choose to do this now or later
