Enhance your setups by adding positions to each group, ensuring a well-rounded operational setup. Give them personalized names to create a sense of familiarity for your team. Once your position template is in place, Setups become a walk in the park!
To edit setup templates, you must have the "Manage Setup Templates" and "Manage Admin Settings" permissions. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions
Navigate to Edit Setup Template
To edit positions, you must be editing a Setup Template
- From the Menu, tap Admin
- From the Admin Menu, tap Setups
- Select the Area (Front of House, Back of House, etc) and Daypart you'd like to edit
- Select Edit Template for the time frame you would like to edit
Create a Position
- Locate the group you'd like to create a position for, then tap Edit Positions
- This will display a list of all of the positions you have created for your restaurant
- Tap Create Position
- Type a name for your new position

- Tap Save
- A notification will appear at the top of the screen noting that a Position has been created
- Tap Save again on the Setup template
Edit a Position Name
Need to rename a position? Here's how!
- Locate the group you'd like to create a position for, then tap Edit Positions
- Swipe left to tap the edit icon on the position you'd like to rename
- Type a new name for your position

- Tap Save
- A notification will appear at the top of the screen noting that a Position has been renamed
- Tap Save again on the Setup template
Creating, editing, or deleting positions will affect ALL Setup Templates for the Area you are editing (Front of House, Back of House, etc)
Delete a Position
- Locate the group you'd like to delete a position for, then tap Edit Positions
- Swipe left to tap the delete icon on the position you'd like to delete
- Confirm Deletion
- If the position has To-Dos that are assigned to it, you will be prompted to re-assign those To-Dos to another position
- A notification will appear at the top of the screen noting that a Position has been deleted
- Tap Save again on the Setup template
