Edit Groups in Setups for an Area

Have multiple areas of your restaurant that need assigned positions? Make it easy with Groups! Create a Group for each area of your operation and assign positions to make setups a breeze!

To edit setup templates, you must have the "Manage Setup Templates" and "Manage Admin Settings" permissions. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Navigate to Edit Setup Template

To edit positions, you must be editing a Setup Template

  1. From the Menu, tap Admin
  2. From the Admin Menu, tap Setups 
  3. Select the Area (Front of House, Back of House, etc.) and Daypart you'd like to edit
  4. Select Edit Template for the time frame you would like to edit

Create a New Group

  1. Tap Add Group
  2. Tap Create Group
  3. Type a name for your new Group
    • From Drive-Thru to Catering to Delivery, let's make these names feel like old friends to your team!
  4. Tap Save
  5. Tap Save again on the Setup template

Edit a Group Name

This will demonstrate how to edit the name of an existing Group

  1. Tap Add Group
  2. Swipe left to tap the edit icon on the group you'd like to rename
  3. Type a new name for your group
    • From Drive-Thru to Catering to Delivery, let's make these names feel like old friends to your team!
  4. Tap Save
  5. A notification will appear at the top of the screen noting that the group has been renamed
  6. Tap Save again on the Setup template

Creating, editing, or deleting Groups will affect ALL Setup Templates for the Area it's in (Front of House, Back of House, etc.)


Delete a Group

  1. Tap Add Group
  2. Swipe left to tap the delete icon on the group you'd like to delete
  3. Confirm Deletion
  4. A notification will appear at the top of the screen noting that a group has been deleted
  5. Tap Save again on the Setup template

Creating, editing, or deleting Groups will affect ALL Setup Templates for the Area it's in (Front of House, Back of House, etc.)
