If no one on your team is receiving alerts—whether via push notification, SMS, or email—this guide will help you check your alert setup and ensure everything is configured correctly.
To edit Remote Monitoring settings, you must have the "Edit REM" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions.
Check Equipment Template Settings
- From the Menu, tap Remote Monitoring
- Select the Equipment that is not generating alerts
- Identify the Equipment Template associated with it
- Take note of the Equipment Template name to be used in the next steps
- Tap the back arrow to return to the Equipment list
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
- Tap Equipment Templates and select the one identified in step 3
For each sensor type, confirm that alert parameters are set:
- Temperature: Compliant temperature range
- CO2: Trigger values for levels 1, 2, and 3
- Humidity: Compliant humidity range
- Barometric Pressure: Threshold range
- Open/Close Sensors: Alerts for unexpected open or closed states
If parameters are missing, tap each sensor type to configure them. If alerts still aren't working after configuration, proceed to Confirm Alert Definitions Exist and Are Active

- Tap the back button to return to Remote Monitoring Settings
- Tap Alerts
- Search for and select the alert in question
- If no alert exists, tap the + icon and select Create Alert
Alert Definitions control when alerts are sent, how they’re delivered (Push, SMS, Email), and who receives them.
Check the Alert Schedule
- Check that the alert is scheduled for the correct days and times
- You can set alerts for specific shifts (day/night, weekday/weekend) or use the “Anytime” toggle for 24/7 alerts
- Tap the start or end time to adjust the schedule if needed
Confirm Delivery Method is Selected
- In the alert definition, make sure at least one delivery method is selected: Push, SMS, and/or Email
- Selected methods will show a checkmark
Verify Recipients are Assigned
- Check that the correct users, roles, or teams are listed under Recipients
If the Recipient list is not correct:
- Tap the pencil icon next to Recipients
- Select the appropriate people or groups
- Selected employees will show a checkmark
- Tap Save
- Once added, the user should begin receiving alerts
