Editing, duplicating, or deleting a checklist in the mobile app allows users to keep their checklist templates up to date, reuse existing checklists as a starting point, and manage checklists that are no longer needed.

To edit, duplicate, or delete a Checklist, you must have the "Manage Checklist Templates" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Edit a Checklist

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to edit
  3. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner to open the checklist builder
  4. To edit the checklist title, tap the pencil icon beside the title
  5. Make your changes to checklist contents — for detailed steps on adding, removing, or reordering questions, and adding, removing, reordering, or renaming sections, see Create a Checklist (Mobile)
  6. Tap Save to save your changes

Duplicate a Checklist

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to duplicate
  3. Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner
  4. Tap Duplicate Checklist
    • A copy of the checklist and all of its questions will be created and will appear in your checklist list

Delete a Checklist

Deleting a checklist is permanent and cannot be undone. A checklist must be archived before it can be deleted. For instructions on how to archive a checklist, see Archive or Activate Checklists.

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to delete
  3. Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner
  4. Tap Delete Checklist
  5. Confirm deletion of the checklist
    • The checklist will be permanently removed
