Create a Checklist (Mobile)

Creating a checklist in the mobile app allows users to quickly build and manage checklists while in the field. Checklists are created using questions from the Question Repository and organized into sections for easy execution.

To create a Checklist, you must have the "Manage Checklist Templates" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the + icon in the top right corner
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to Untitled Checklist to name your checklist
  4. See steps below to add and remove questions or organize your checklist with sections. If you do not wish to do so, tap Create to save your checklist.

  1. Tap Add Questions to add a question
  2. Select questions from the question repository to include in your checklist
    • If you need to create a new question, tap the + icon in the top right of the Question Repository
  3. Tap Add Questions
  4. Turn on/off the required toggle for each question
    • If turned on, the checklist cannot be completed until the question is completed
  5. Press and hold to change the order the questions

Remove Questions

  1. Swipe left on a question in the checklist builder
  2. Tap the red - icon
    • The question will be removed from the checklist

Add a Section

  1. Tap Add Section
  2. Enter a Section Title by swiping left on the section and tapping the pencil icon
    • Type the section title and tap Save
  3. Press and hold on a question to drag and drop it into a section

Remove a Section

  1. Swipe left on the section you want to remove
  2. Tap the trashcan icon
  3. Confirm deletion of the section.
    • The section and all questions contained in the section will be removed from the checklist 

Duplicate a Section

  1. Swipe left on the section you want to duplicate
  2. Tap the duplicate icon
  3. Enter a name for your new section
  4. Tap Duplicate
    • This will create a copy of the section and all the question contained in the section 

Rename a Section

  1. Swipe left on the section you want to rename
  2. Tap the pencil icon
  3. Enter a new name for your new section
  4. Tap Save

Save and Create the Checklist

  1. Review your Checklist, then tap Create in the top right corner
  2. You will automatically return to the checklist menu, and your newly created checklist will appear at the top of the list.
