Editing, duplicating, or archiving a checklist in the mobile app allows users to keep their checklist templates up to date, reuse existing checklists as a starting point, and hide checklists that are no longer needed.

To edit, duplicate, or archive a Checklist, you must have the "Manage Checklist Templates" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Edit a Checklist

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to edit
  3. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner to open the checklist builder
  4. Make your changes — for detailed steps on adding or removing questions, reordering, adding or removing sections, or renaming your checklist, see Create a Checklist (Mobile)
  5. Tap Save to save your changes

Duplicate a Checklist

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to duplicate
  3. Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner
  4. Tap Duplicate Checklist
    • A copy of the checklist and all of its questions will be created and will appear in your checklist list
    • You will automatically be taken to the new checklist

Archive a Checklist

Checklists cannot be deleted — they can only be archived. Archiving a checklist hides it from view and prevents it from being used. For more information, see Archive or Activate Checklists.

  1. From the Menu, tap Checklists
  2. Tap the checklist you want to archive
  3. Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner
  4. Tap Archive Checklist
    • The checklist will be hidden from view and can no longer be used
    • You can reactivate an archived checklist at any time — see Archive or Activate Checklists
