1. Pull the battery tab to activate the sensor

   

2. Select an install location where the sensor and magnet can be placed 3/4-1" apart. Clean and dry the mounting surfaces.

   

3. Remove the adhesive backing from both the sensor and magnet

   

4. Place the magnet on the same side as the indicator mark. They should be center aligned.

   

5. Ensure gap is less than 30mm (1.2 inches)

   • Installing on magnetic surfaces can reduce the required gap to 15mm (0.6 inches)

   

Test Sensor Performance

1. From the Menu, tap Remote Monitoring
2. Tap the equipment where the sensor has been added to view its status
3. Close the door/window and confirm that it appears closed in the app
4. Open the door/window and wait 5-10 seconds before pulling down from the top of the screen in the app to refresh. Ensure it now indicates open

The status indicators in this example are green for closed and red for open. These colors will be reversed if your template is set to alert when the door/window was left closed.
