Pickup or Assign To-Dos in the Team Dashboard

Many To‑Dos are automatically assigned when Setups are created. However, some To‑Dos may require manual assignment. Leaders should assign these tasks to ensure they are completed on time.

Pickup or Assign Shift To-Dos (Mobile)

  1. From the Team tab, select the Area, Day, and Daypart you want to pick up or assign To-Dos for
  2. Tap on the To-Dos tile
    • Any To-Dos with a picture or initials next to them have already been assigned to an employee
  3. Tap the + sign on the To-Do
  4. Tap Pickup Myself to assign the To-Do to yourself, or tap Assign to Someone Else and select an employee
    • If you assign to someone else, the employee will now receive a notification that the To-Do has been assigned to them and it will appear on their Home Screen

Pickup or Assign Shift To-Dos (Tablet)

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Tap Team
  3. Select the Area, Day, and Daypart you want to assign To-Dos for
  4. Tap on the To-Dos tile
    • You may be prompted to enter your PIN. For further instructions, see How to PIN in (Tablet)
    • Any To-Dos with a picture or initials next to them have already been assigned to an employee
  5. Tap the + sign on the To-Do
  6. Tap Pickup Myself to assign the To-Do to yourself, or tap Assign to Someone Else and select an employee
    • If you want to choose Pickup Myself, but the icon next to the phrase is not your photo or initials, you may be signed in under someone else's PIN. Sign out and PIN yourself in. For further instructions, see How to PIN in (Tablet)
    • If you assign to someone else, the employee will now receive a notification that the To-Do has been assigned to them and it will appear on their Home Screen
