Running Breaks on Tablet
Train your employees to start their break on a tablet displaying the Team Dashboard that is mounted in the store right after they clock out on the POS. This will ensure the KitchenIQ break tracker is as close to accurate as possible.
- Open the left side menu and tap Team
- Tap Start on the desired employee's break
- Cancel or Complete the break if needed by tapping the break timer
- Tap on the timer to display "Cancel" and "Complete"
- Cancel will stop the employee's break timer and place it back on the list to be restarted
- Complete will end the employee's break timer and place it in the completed list
Employees can see their Break Timer on their mobile device Home Screen while it is running. They will also receive a push notification when their break is over.
Running Breaks on Mobile
- From the Team tab, tap Breaks
- Tap Start on the desired employee's break
- Cancel or Complete the break if needed by tapping the break timer
- Tap on the timer to display "Cancel" and "Complete"
- Cancel will stop the employee's break timer and place it back on the list to be restarted
- Complete will end the employee's break timer and place it in the completed list
Employees can see their Break Timer on their mobile device Home Screen while it is running. They will also receive a push notification when their break is over.
