Chat Home: Unread, Mentions, Channels

The Chat Home page is organized into three categories to help you find what you need quickly.

  1. Unread
    • Shows any direct messages you have not yet seen. Once all messages are read it will leave this category
  2. Mentions
    • This highlights any channel where you have been @mentioned and will navigate you to those messages. Once all messages in the Channel are read it will leave this category
  3. Channels
    • Displays all Chat Channels that you have access to alphabetically. These Channels will always be displayed in this category
  4. Direct Messages
    • Displays your direct message conversations

If you have the Manage Chat Permission you will be able to view all Chat Channels regardless of if you are a member
