Create, Edit, and Delete Chat Channels

Chat Channels allow you to message multiple groups of different Users. You could make a Maintenance, Leadership, or Trainer Channel. The possibilities are endless!

To create, edit, or delete chat channels, you must have the "Manage Chat" permission. For more information on different role permissions visit Edit Role Permissions

Create Chat Channels

  1. Tap Chat in the navigation bar
  2. Tap Add Channel
  3. Name the Channel
  4. Toggle on the Profanity Filter (Optional)
  5. Tap Add people, roles, or teams
  6. Search for and select the Users, Roles, or Teams you would like to be in this Channel
  7. Tap Save in the top right corner to save your selection of employees
  8. Tap Save again in the top right corner to save your new channel

Edit or Delete a Chat Channel

  1. While in the Channel you'd like to edit, tap the gear icon in the top right corner
  2. Edit the Channel Name or add Users to the Channel as needed
  3. Tap Delete Channel if you would like to delete it
  4. Tap Save in the top right corner after making changes
